Every country or nation represented
by its culture, tradition and heritage. Like Rome culture and tradition shows a very historic past which includes arts, historic architecture, fashion
and food etc. Pakistan is represented by its art, music, festivals, sports, poetry, architecture and
food etc. If we specifically discussed about the most influential art is our
hand made products that sold all over the world, our truck art that even foreigners follow in their vehicles as well.
If I discuss about our tradition
and culture which is becoming a fashion
now. It is just because of our handmade or
home-made products and our provincial
dresses. Our Sindh province is very famous for shawls known as “Ajrak” and hand-made earrings. Punjab is famous for traditional dresses and weddings. Baluchistan dresses like turban, loose shalwar, big pocket shirts
of females and small round shape glass
work on them, a big long dupatta. In KPK
you will observe mostly shalwar kameez, turban, kufi, kandhari cap, pakol
and karakul hat and famous Peshawari
chappal and Kaptaan chappal and
in for women they used to have heavy embroidered dresses and handmade jewelry. Folk music and tribal system as well in
KPK.
What I want to mention here is that
few Pakistani brands are now
promoting the heritage of Pakistan, like Generation have launched the whole
campaign this summer by the name “No Nonsense Nighat” in which they
have tried to represent the heritage of Punjab. For this outstanding initiative
they got a “Lux Style Award of 2019” for best collection.
Another very underrated brand in “Centaurus
Mall Islamabad” named “Eastern Art and Handicrafts” is
selling almost everything which is representing different provinces of Pakistan.
If you just visit that store you got so emotional after watching the products,
they have. On entrance they have a medium
size truck, then they have Kashmiri shawls,
Ajrak, Handmade jewelry, Handmade
bags, Marble lamps, Beautiful stones
etc. Everything that touch your heart through appealing look.
I have purchased a marble lamp in 1500 rupees, A beautiful handmade bag in 300 rupees and a pair of
earrings in just 400 rupees. I have spent
more than 20 minutes just to watch and feel the things they have. I will
recommend all of you just visit that store and feel the beauty of our culture. Share
